Glamding, Sword of Gandalf

Glamdring is the sword of Gandalf the Grey (as described in the novels "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings").

Originally it was the sword of an ancient king (Turgon of Gondolin), from whom it was stolen. Ages later it was discovered in a troll cave by Gandalf, who used it since. Glamdring is said to show the pressence of orcs with a light blue glow.

The complete image was created with Photoimpact (especially with the path tool). It is a double handed sword and I made it long before the movie came into the cinema. So it looks different than the one forged for new line cinema in weta workshop.
